Munich, June 2, 2025 – Following a successful collaboration with Motel One hotels in the Netherlands, award-winning Gin 1689 is now partnering with Motel One across Germany and Austria. As part of this expansion, 1689 Dutch Pink Gin will be featured on the gin bar menus of over 85 Motel One hotels in both countries.
Motel One, founded in 2000 in Germany, is one of Europe’s fastest-growing hotel chains, operating in eleven European countries and New York City. Known for its high-quality furnishings, exclusive design, first-class service, and prime inner-city locations, Motel One also boasts a dedicated Gin & Tonic Bar in every hotel.
For the 2025/2026 bespoke gin menu, Gin 1689’s fruity pink gin was selected after a highly competitive tasting process, securing its place on the Gin & Tonic menu across all Motel One hotels in Germany and Austria.
Alexander Janssens, founder of Gin 1689, expressed his enthusiasm: "After working with Motel One in the Netherlands, we are thrilled that their headquarters in Germany has chosen our pink gin for all their hotels in Germany and Austria. Being featured in over 85 hotels is a major boost for our brand in the Central European region!"
